Lana - Weekdays 2pm-6pm
Lana Gay is a broadcaster, music journalist and you can hear her on Indie88 weekdays from 2-6pm. She loves the arts, discovering new music, and interviewing your favourite artists. She’s interviewed everyone from Fontaines DC to Jack White, Myles Smith to Lucy Dacus, and even her hero Dolly Parton(!!!)
She was a founding member on Women in Music Canada’s board of directors, and as an advocate for children’s literacy ran A Good Book Drive Toronto, raising thousands of books for The Children’s Book Bank.
Lana’s never met a cheese she didn’t like, and last year her longtime nacho order made it on the menu at the great Sneaky Dee’s (try the Queen’s Crown nachos will ya!?) She won the ‘Most Likely to Save the World Award’ in high school and knows the value of a cold beer, an old record, and a great pair of cowboy boots.
